Sveriges Stärkelseproducenter Förening u.p.a. is taking shape – a milestone for the starch industry in Sweden.

A total of 137 out of the Sweden’s 139 starch factories have joined the association.

The association’s first central factory is now completed in Mörrum, Blekinge, and is inaugurated by the Minister for Agriculture, Gösta Netzén.

The new factory in Mjällby, Blekinge, is inaugurated.

Our factory in Nöbbelöv, just outside Kristianstad, is now completed and inaugurated.

A new rolling department is put into operation, doubling the capacity for cold-swelling starch and enhancing our production capabilities.

Mjällby receives a new energy-efficient facility.

Construction begins in Nöbbelöv for a new storage silo, which will hold 50,000 tons of starch and and reach an impressive height of 52 meters.
